Mrs Jacqueline B. Blouin is the founder of the company Les Herbes Pures J.B. Ltée, established in Sherbrooke. Suffering from significant health problems, Mrs Blouin consulted Dr Eugene C. Watkins in Michigan, which has an excellent reputation in alternative medicine and as a manufacturer of herbal extracts of high quality. Back home, Mrs Blouin began the treatment suggested by Dr Watkins and felt its benefits after a few days.

Mrs Jacqueline B. Blouin started selling the products from Dr Watkins in February 1983, and two years later, in March 1985, she officially founded the company Les Herbes Pures J.B. Ltée, within which she worked for 25 years.

Mrs Blouin is now retired, but she is still holding the president founder's position. In May 2007, her daughter Myriam became the new owner and she is the general president-director of the company.
