Carrot root is an excellent source of B-carotene. The carrot's red pigment is transformed into vitamin A. The vitamin A reinforces the thymus gland which in turn reinforces the immune system. Hence, carrot root extracts play a vital role in the prevention and treatment of diseases.
Also an excellent source of B-carotene (for healthy eyes and skin), carrot root is a source of sodium, potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium as well as niacin and folic acid.
Possessing an excellent nutritive value, it has proven itself effective in the treatment of skin ailments such as dermatosis, prevention of wrinkles and aging, regulation of night vision, in the treatment of anemia and for body remineralisation.
Carrot roots extracts possess excellent diuretic and depurative properties. They reinforce liver action and stimulate urine production as well as kidney excretion. It is excellent in the treatment against parasites and in the treatment of infantile diarrhea.
