Historical Uses:
Safflower was originally valued for the yellow and red dyes yielded by its flowers. It has been used as a diaphoretic to induce sweating and as a febrifuge to reduce fever.

It has been used to treat colds and childhood complaints.

Safflower has also been used to promote the production of gastric juice, to prevent and reduce intestinal gas and bloating.

Also use if low iron blood count.
Contraindications:
None.
Adverse reactions:
None.
Dosage:
40 to 80 drops after meals. Externally, rub on back of the neck, wrist, spine, temples and forehead hourly, as needed.
