Historical Uses:
Mullein is considered to be one of the world's oldest medicinal plants1 and it has been widely used in the treatment of respiratory disorders such as asthma, coughs, tuberculosis, etc.2 It has been recommended in cases of intestinal hemorrhages, internal irritation, headaches in children and epilepsy.3,4 Externally, Mullein is considered very useful to treat suppurating varicose veins.

Contraindications:
None.

Adverse reactions:
None.

Dosage:
For general use, 40 drops three times per day, after meals. Also twice daily, rub extract over entire chest and back or on the varicose veins.
