Historical Uses:
Irish Moss has been praised over the years in traditional medicine for its rich supply of essential minerals, vital trace elements and iodine salts.1,2 It has been used to treat cough, bronchitis, dyspepsia, nausea, heartburn and other gastric disturbances.1 It is said to be useful in cases of stiff joints and cartilage.2 Irish Moss has a dependable knack of rebuilding connective tissue in the body. It is reputed to moisturize the body, promote a youthful appearance, help eliminate cellulite and treat dermatitis.2

Contraindications:
Avoid excessive consumption while taking anti-coagulant drugs.

Adverse reactions:
None.

Dosage:
10 to 40 drops three times per day.
