Historical Uses:
This extract is made from the Green Hull of the Black Walnut, which covers the shell and contains the nut meat, before the hull turns black.1 The Green Hull contains a glucoside called Hydrojuglone that has been used in folk medicine as an astringent to treat gastric and intestinal disorders. It also has a calming effect on the nervous system and a spasmolytic action.2 The extract is used as a safe method of killing body parasites. 1

Dosage:
5 to 40 drops twice a day. Make sure to take a good bowel program with it.
