Historical Uses:
Flax has been used for more than ten thousand years as a source of fiber for weaving or clothing and its use in traditional medicine, to treat constipation, urinary tract infections and inflammation, is just as old.1 Recent evidence also indicates that it may help reduce cholesterol levels significantly.1,2 Externally, it has been applied to injuries, 1 ruptures and varicose veins.

None.

Adverse reactions:
None.

Dosage:
20 to 80 drops per meal. Externally, apply as a poultice to injured area.
