Historical Uses:
Carpenter's Square is a member of the mint family and has been used as a lymphatic cleaner. It is also helpful to clean spleen and tonsils.

It has also been known to expel parasites. Externally, it has been employed in folk medicine to treat fig warts, skin diseases such as psoriasis and eczema.

Contraindications:
Avoid Carpenter's Square internally in cases of heart diseases and use internally only under medical supervision.
Adverse reactions:
Avoid excessive consumption.
Dosage:
10 to 40 drops three times per day. Externally, to treat fig warts, put Vitamin E oil from 100 international units capsules and apply to the sole of the foot. Soak two layers of cheese cloth or absorbent gauze with Carpenter's Square extract and lay this over the offending area, then cover this with plastic wrap and finally, wrap a cloth around the foot to hold all in place. Repeat morning and night until corrected. Wash the area each time between applications and allow to dry before putting on a fresh application.
