The Microsphere Procedure

The herbs are steeped in a discriminating mixture of water and alcohol, in order to let the active compounds be extracted. The hydro-alcoholic dose is variable, depending on the nature of the herb, in order to respect the solubility of the components. In addition, an adjusted steeping time allows for the respect of primary compounds, to obtain the desired result.

The liquid extract obtained is then mixed into neutral vegetable cellulose (a natural substance which covers and protects plant, vegetable and fruit cells). Only excipient in the microsphere composition.

This blend is conditioned into small spheres by a special industrial process without any chemical processing.

They are then dried at low temperature in a ventilated oven for 7 to 8 hours, depending on the herb. The alcohol is evaporated by the different fluctuations in temperature. The heat never exceeds 35 degrees centigrade. In other words, the temperature is always lower than that of the human body, in order to protect the active compounds.

After sifting, the microspheres are then conditioned. The microspheres have an average diameter between 1um and 1mm.

The product obtained is 100% lyoavailable, as opposed to the classic capsules, where the active components are released at only 20-30% on average.

The advantages of microspheres compared with classic capsules

-The capsules are created in laboratories, with all the quality guarantees, since they are vigorously controlled at each step of their manufacturing: the selection of herbs, extraction of active compounds, conserving, conditioning...

In fact, as the herbal extracts are steeped and filtered, no residue remains present in the capsule. The product is bacterialogically and microbiologically clean.

-The capsules are 100% vegetable based, without gelatin and are not tested on animals.

-The microsphere procedure is exclusive and patented: its effectiveness has been proven. The verification of the activity was carried out by professor Maurice Jacob, of the Université de Monpelier I, Galenic pharmacy laboratory, pharmaceutical technology and biopharmacy, in September, 1996.

-In the microsphere capsules, there is as much active compound as in a capsule of dried herbs, but the active compounds are released and made 100% available with the microsphere, as opposed to 50% for classic capsules. That is why only 2 capsules a day must be taken, instead of an average of 4 to 6 of the classic capsules to have the same effectiveness. To obtain the equivalent of 2 microsphere capsules of 430 mg, it takes approximately 1720 mg of herbal powder in classic capsules.

-By extension, the herbs used/microsphere ratio is equal to 1 and nature can only supply set quantity of plants per year, therefore the microsphere capsule range allows to contribute to sound ecological management, since they use two times less of raw material than the classic range.
